Allow me to introduce my new favorite green smoothie! Green smoothies are consumed regularly in my home because of all the wonderful benefits they provide for my health such as awesome energy boosts, aid with digestion, and improved muscle recovery after workouts. Green smoothies are a great way to increase vegetables in your diet.
The base is mango, spinach and coconut water and then I added dates, mint, ginger and a little bit of maca. Before trying this a few weeks ago, that particular combination never crossed my mind and now it’s my new favorite! The mango and dates completely overpower the spinach so you don’t have to worry about it tasting like a salad 🙂
• 1 Large Mango
• 1 Handful of Baby Spinach
• 4 Medjool Dates
• 1 Tbsp grated Ginger
• 1 Tbsp Fresh Mint leaves
• 1 Cup of Coconut water (or regular filtered water)
• 1 Tbsp of Maca (optional superfood)
Place all ingredients in a blender and process until completely smooth. Serve immediately.
