Eyes that are Changing Colors with a Raw Vegan Diet

This is a before and after picture of someone’s eyes. But how did they change color? Ah you see, the eyes are not only a window to your soul, they are also a window to your internal health!

A few days ago I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Steve Factor, The Pure Energy Chef from Burbank, CA.

Steve Factor

Steve is a huge contribution to the raw vegan movement and a magnificent soul! He’s been awarded ‘Raw Coach of the Year’. He’s about to open up a juice bar in Burbank. He teaches raw vegan workshops at Whole Foods and has many videos on YouTube where you can hear him speak about all the benefits of living foods and the amazing PURE ENERGY they can provide for us. During our talk, we chatted about RAWKIN’ foods, as he likes to call them, and detoxing, which brought up Robert Morse, N.D.— one of my greatest heroes! Steve will be visiting Dr. Morse in Florida soon to work with him on a collaborative project.

Dr. Robert Morse, N.D.

Dr. Robert Morse, N.D.

Dr. Morse is one of the greatest healers of our time.
Through his practice, books, and online videos, he spreads awareness to the public about the most important aspect of true health that there is on the planet: DETOXIFICATION. He has an 85% healing rate of success and has treated over 250,000 patients. His belief is that the allopathic approach (pharmaceutical, surgical, radiation) to treating disease cannot offer any “cures” to diseases because they may only remove the symptoms and never take care of the root cause. He is a strong proponent of natural (traditional) medicine, which uses products made from natural sources or herbs to treat disease and regenerate the body. In general, the diagnostic procedures used in natural medicine, including iridology (which I will demonstrate in this article), kinsesiology, pulsing, hair or tissue analysis, and many others are non-ivasive and not harmful to the patient whatsoever, coupled with a raw vegan diet (high in alkalinity), can aid in the process of removing all the obstructions that halt the body’s miraculous self-healing mechanisms. He believes that there is no such thing as disease, only an alkaline or acidic condition of the body.

Iridology
The reason I’m bringing this up is because I am very intrigued by one of Dr. Morse’s videos online that touched upon the subject of iridology. Iridology relates various spots on the eye to about 50 parts of the body. The innermost blue circle in both eyes, for example, is said to reflect the health of the stomach. The topmost quadrants are said to represent the brain (cerebrum and cerebellum) and other parts of the head. It has been said that the yellowish color around your pupil is sometimes an indication of your body’s toxicity. If this is true, then the more you detox, the less yellow you should have.

Steve’s Eyes
And then here’s Steve, sitting in front of me, pulling out his iPhone to show me the progression of his detox through his iris! He got an iridology exam around the time he started eating 95% or more live vegan foods. Four years later, he gets another iridology exam, and the results are nothing short of amazing! And this is just in 4 years time. I’ve been wanting to try this out myself, as I am so curious to know how my eyes can change too over years of eating clean and detoxing.

And Steve is not the only person whose eyes have changed color. Kristina Carrillo-Bucaram, aka Fully Raw Kristina has a video where she talks about how her eyes changed from brown to greenish blue after years of eating a fully raw vegan diet.
Fully Raw Kristina Before After Iridology Eyes Raw Vegan

So what does this tell us? A whole lot! Aside from demonstrating that raw vegansim is not just some fad diet, I’m excited to share this because there’s a great deal of skepticism going on about iridology and many other holistic practices. Well, I don’t believe it’s a ‘coincidence’ that people’s eye colors are changing after a dramatic change in diet and lifestyle. And this is a truly amazing way to prove that living, clean foods and detoxification can completely transform someone from the inside out. Time and time again I am shown that our bodies are incredible machines, and every speck on it has a purpose and connection to something else, just like every person living on this organism we call Planet Earth. 🙂

Cheers to your body and to your health!

*UPDATE: After posting this article, someone asked me “So a fat man with blue eyes is healthy?” – although funny, this is a very good question. My response was that unfortunately for the blue-eyed overweight man, no, it does not mean he’s healthy. It’s not just about the color, but also the way the fibers are shaped. You can see Dr. Morse’s outlines in black around some of the fibers on Steve Factor’s eye picture indicating something in that area (corresponding to a specific part of the body). The color yellow indicates sulfuric acid in the body, and how much this yellow appears in the iris can help determine the level of acidity in the organs and glands. For many people, this yellow color can actually cover the entire eye, making their eyes appear brown or hazel, when they can really be green or blue underneath. It’s easier to understand if you watch one of Dr. Morse’s videos, where he analyzes different photos of his patients’ eyes.

No, It will not change his eye color. This article is referring to people who have blue eyes that appear brown because of poor health. Your friend (being asian) most definitely has brown eyes..but I’d point him in the direction of Biokinesis, this is what I have used to alter my eye color a bit, before I became interested in a Raw vegan diet 🙂

It depends on the true color of your eyes. If your eyes are brown to start, with layers of sulphur from antibiotics, then no. They may change lighter, but they won’t necessarily go blue, however Kristina from Fully Raw Kristina had blue eyes under her brown and she’s 1/2 Latin, 1/2 Middle Eastern, so it is possible. It just depends on the base color of your eyes. Have an Iridologist check them out. 🙂

My Dad is Irish and German. He has blue eyes. My mom is a Latina and has brown eyes. I used to have bright grey/blue eyes until I was 5. Now I am 13 and have hazel green eyes in the sun. If I eat more raw food, could my eyes get back to blue again?

Eyes become paler with poor health, not the other way around, it’s a sign your body does has a deficit which stops it from to producing melanin (the pigment that makes eyes brown) or that the blood flow is poorer.

Hi I was born with hazel eyes when I was born the drs thought I had down sydrome because of the color of my eyes (stupid, I know) but as a kid I had dark brown eyes and grew up eating not so healthy food items. Mostly frozen processed food but as I have gotten older I have slowly started eating healthier and healthier especially now I eat healthier than ever and my eyes are hazel. Base color is brown with green and blue accents. My eyes look more green than anything. So what I am wondering is if I commit to a fully raw vegan diet, will I suscesfully have a change in eye color?

My eyes were medium to dark brown for as I can remember. As I refined my diet to about 50% raw fruit and veg. shakes (every day!) I noticed that my eyes started to shift into hazel in parts and then further into some green. A few years later, I switched to 100% distilled water and upped my volume to about a gallon a day (has been 20 months now)…I noticed that I started to develop a limbal ring (google—>sign of youth and health) which at first was black and then transformed to blue/black. fantastic transformation! very pleased with how it’s going…

I find this insulting. I have brown eyes and no desire for them to change blue. If you want to tout the health benefits of raw veganism, great. But don’t imply that we all want less pigmented eyes. Brown eyes are advantageous during sun exposure, and very light colored eyes can indicate bad health along with cataracts.

Hi and thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts. Sorry to hear you found this information insulting, but in no part of the article did I imply that blue or other light colored irises equate to good health or that they are better than brown or dark eyes. I was referring to the results of people that removed the yellow from their eyes by reducing sulfuric content in their organs. If they naturally have blue or green eyes, the reduction of yellow will dramatically change the color. I also made it clear that it is not only about the color but the shape of the fibers as well.

I have been eating high raw on and off for a few years and almost exclusively for the past year and my hazel/green eyes are now a light aqua/blue colour, the change in colour is undeniable and dramatic. My boyfriend has experienced the same. I had no interest in changing my eye colour, I just wanted to clean up my overall health which achieved I have beyond my wildest dreams, but I am fascinated but such a tangible atheistic change.
Thank you for the article Diana, it wasn’t even remotely insulting, just interesting and informative 🙂

I’m very curious about this. My ethnicity is Chinese, so I naturally have VERY dark brown eyes. If I begin eating healthy, what will happen? I have mixed feelings about my eye colour changing.

If anyone could help, I would be grateful 🙂

My eyes changed from hazel to blue within 6 months of starting GAPS introduction diet, which is essentially an elimination diet I did for systemic candida. I did loads of other detoxifying treatments at the same time, and live a pretty low stress life now and have also lowered my toxic exposure significantly. There are definitely lots of factors and approaches. I do eat a lot of raw food, but also a lot of other types of food.

Has this ever happened on a high raw (as opposed to fully raw) diet? I am definitely planning on changing my diet from just vegan to a high raw vegan one. While I doubt my eyes will change color (very dark brown, I’m happy with them!) I’m curious if you can still reap the health benefits of being mostly raw without doing it 100%.

I think Steve Factor fluctuates between high raw and fully raw, and his eyes’ appearance is still changing for him. Needless to say, his health has been increasingly better as well 🙂

I think mine have gone lighter after being vegan, although I’m not raw.
A vegan doctor told me mine were another color underneath. Thanks for sharing, I’ve been looking this info for months since he told me that.
